Serving

Red Cedar runs on the passion and drive of our volunteer team members. There are opportunities in every area of ministry to use the gifts and talents God has given you.

Serving Opportunities

  • Next Steps Team

Help people move from their first visit to Red Cedar into a mature relationship with Jesus through connection and follow-up. This team bridges the gap between attending and belonging by providing guidance, encouragement, and opportunities to deepen faith and grow in community.

  • Hospitality

From the street to the seats, this team welcomes guests by greeting at the door, serving coffee, seating them, and helping them connect. Join us in preparing for and welcoming guests to create an environment of warmth and belonging for weekend services.

  • Prayer Ministry

Join over 80 others interceding for the needs of our church family and community through prayer, during the week and on weekends. We believe that prayer is powerful and is a core reason why God is changing lives at Red Cedar Church.

  • RC Kids

RC Kids partners with families to build a foundation for their kids to live a full life in Jesus. Create an environment where kids experience God’s love, discover His plan for their lives, and learn that He can help them make wise choices.

  • RCYTH

Help teens in Barron County learn to live, lead, and love like Jesus. Create a space where they become disciples and disciple-makers, grow in personal relationships with Jesus, and discover their identity in Him through relationships and intentional discipleship opportunities.

  • Congregational Care

Serve the Red Cedar community by making hospital visits, building relationships with those in assisted living, serving communion to homebound members, and providing connection to those who cannot attend services. Be the hands and feet of Jesus through intentional care and prayer.

  • Production Team

The Production Team uses sound, lights, projections, and video to create an atmosphere where people can encounter the Holy Spirit. By facilitating worship, they help provide a seamless experience that draws people closer to God and removes distractions during services.

  • Worship & Creative Arts

Lead the congregation in worship through music, arts, and creativity. Whether you are a musician, vocalist, graphic designer, photographer, or painter, this team provides a way to use your talents for God. Inspire others to worship with your gifts and creative passion.

  • Group Leader

Lead people to Full Life in Jesus by facilitating a Red Cedar Group. Guide discussions, host studies, or gather people around a shared interest. With coaching and training provided, you’ll help form faith through trusted relationships and create a sense of belonging.

  • Midweek Campus Support

Have time to serve during the week? Volunteer as a receptionist during office hours or assist with various task-oriented projects that support the ministry. This team ensures the practical needs of Red Cedar are met, fostering excellence in all areas of operation.

  • Outreach

Our Outreach Ministry builds bridges between Red Cedar and the community both locally and globally. Join this team to serve others, spread the love of Jesus, and help make a difference through intentional efforts that impact lives for Christ.

  • Facilities

Help create a clean, maintained, and spiritually prepared environment for weekend services and weekday meetings. By working behind the scenes, you’ll ensure that the church remains a welcoming space where people can connect, worship, and grow in their faith.
